On the Lot

Valley of the Fire St Park and Vega$
We enjoyed the State Park,and Chuck and Jerry met up with us and we enjoyed some hiking and the visitors center,its hard to believe that Vega$ is only an hour away.We picked up Kim and Joe at the airport,and Gloria and Arlene joined us and Chris,Tim and Jeremiah and Jessee too.Wade and Elias drove from Mammoth and I had my 60th birthday surrounded by family and friends.We were able to get tickets to the Bette Midler show and really enjoyed that.

St George Utah
We are enjoying the St George area,we visited Brigham Youngs winter home and other pioneer homesteads,we are staying at an RV park close to the St George Temple,and we did our chores like shopping for groceries and laundry.It is very warm here,today is 81 degrees and later we plan to go to the pool.Our next stop will likely be a state park in Nevada so we will not have wi-fi access.We will catch up when we get to La$ Vega$.

Zion National Park
We are staying at an Rv park just outside the National Park,we stayed three nights and we were able to relax and enjoy alot of the park,Lee was able to play the flute alongside the Virgin River and we walked to the Weeping Wall,we had beautiful sunshine and marvelled at the cliffs and fabulous beauty of Mother Nature.We saw some rope climbers and enjoyed riding the shuttle in town and in the park.

Capital Reef National Park
We are in Salina Utah which is 80 miles from the Capital Reef National Park,we had some rain and wind driving this morning,but the skies cleared and what a beatiful day we had! We have enjoyed Zion and Bryce and the Grand Canyon,but with this park we could drive into the canyons.What a georgous array of cliffs and rock formations,we enjoyed some hiking and petroglyphs .

Hyrum Utah fun!
We are in Hyrum Utah,at Judy Ann and Bruce's Lee's first cousin and enjoying what they have called a corral breakfast.We enjoyed some great weather and some shopping and playing alot of card games,and some friends we see in Yuma every year.The weather did turn cold one day and we had snow although the mountains were beautiful! We are now on our way to Capital Reef National Park.

Catching up with pictures
Today September 27th I'll catch up with the latest posted pictures,while we were in Montana the pictures would not send.We have pictures of the trailer at Georgetown Lake and more of Lee out in the boat.We went on to Crater of the Moon National Mounument,in Idaho and really enjoyed the volcanic formations.We went to the Rangers talk about the stars and really enjoyed the brilliant stars and saw shooting stars,we stayed in a camping spot #51 and Lee said we were in (area 51).We are on to Hyrum Utah for 3 days to visit with Judy Ann and Bruce.

Georgetown Lake
Lee is fishing one afternoon,we stayed three days at a forest service campground,seven dollars a night because Lee has 1/2 price camping with his golden eagle pass!!He caught some fish but did not take pictures of them.We saw a moose not far from our trailer at this campsite.

Heyburn State Park-Idaho
Our first day we meet up with Jess and Suzy Bevans at Heyburn State Park in Idaho,we enjoy a great bike trail and the first day we ride over 20 miles,needless to say my knee is doing much better!!This is the bridge over Lake Coeur D,Alene, we had great weather and Molly got to ride in the basket too.

We are out to Famous Daves for Anthonys favorite...RIBS!We enjoyed our dinner and had hugs and kisses and wishes for safe travelling.
